Friendly reminder: what you see on social media is but a split second in time. Posed and flexed.
Then you tend to prop up that freeze frame moment and wonder why you don’t look the same.
Next reminder: lifting weights does not make you look bulky or manly. No one walks around flexing all day. The photo on the left isn’t what the world sees as I stroll through the grocery store. Don’t be afraid to lift. And lift heavy. And don’t look at images on social media or advertisements and compare yourself to them.
Pro tip: find a place in your house that has good lighting. In my gym there are a few places that are super flattering… like in the back of the room by the bench… can see my abs very well defined when I stand back there. Where is your lighting? Find it. It helps you through the journey, I promise.
Even the programs that reverse don’t do a good job because they cave to the fear of their clients or they let AI (artificial intelligence) do the work.
